It’s likely that a diet of this nature came about for the same reasons the low-carb craze started: people were eating too many carbs and not enough protein. Hence the rise of the low carb and high protein weight loss techniques.

But is this diet a good choice for a forward-thinking weight reduction program? It’s understandable why the pendulum has swung from heavy-carb diets to light-carb diets and is now traversing towards the protein trend. However, observing a balanced diet based on natural foods and regular exercise is the ultimate weight management practice for forward-thinking dieters.
