Personal Weight Loss Sites Explained
Adventures of a Dieter
The web is full of personal weight loss sites exposing stories of dramatic
weight loss, journals of weight loss struggles and diaries of post-gastric by-pass
surgeries. Providing individual
information on diet and weight reduction, these sites can be incredibly
motivating yet misleading as they discuss the various
weight loss tools their creators used to
diet.
There are a number of different individual weight loss site structures; they are
as follows:
1) An example of a personal diet site is:
www.dwlz.com. This site shares the story of a woman who lost a lot of
weight. Dotti shows her favorite diet products and cookbooks as well as
asks for support to keep her site going –all with the intention of
informing people on her triumph and getting
people to buy the items she endorses.
2) Another form of publishing personal weight loss stories on the web is through
diet blogging. Diet blogging is a journal that any individual can start which
they can use as a personal outlet for their diet triumphs and struggles.
For interest sake, these sites are similar to reading a diet-focused US Weekly
about non-famous dieters –what they eat, how they diet, what works for them,
etc… The only problem with relying too heavily on this type of research is that
what works for one person doesn’t always work for another. Therefore, when
scouring the web for individual diet sites, go through the information with a
grain of salt.
At the end of the day, if you’re looking for a diet, it’s best to start off with
a healthy weight loss program and then go
forward with the knowledge of how to eat and live more healthily so you too can
become an amateur diet connoisseur.
