Is it Possible to Achieve Natural Weight Loss With Free Diet Plans?
The Cabbage Soup Diet and More…
Because we’re used to paying for any service we receive, whenever people
hear the word ‘free’ they're either skeptical or excited. Imagine the
following free diet plans as no-frills alternatives. They provide you the basic
information, and you choose whether or not to follow along. In addition, the
following plans are based on natural weight loss, so you won’t have to worry
about having to buy ‘the soup’ if you’re considering the
cabbage soup diet.
The above-mentioned low-fat soup diet lasts for 7 days and is slightly kitschy
in nature. It involves eating soup daily and supplementing your soup portions
with fruits, veggies, meat and brown rice depending on the menu for the day. It is not
something that should be considered for long-term use, but it’s easy to follow
and involves products you can buy at the grocery store and cook in your own kitchen.
The next diet’s central starting point is the farmers market or the produce
section. The basic premise of this plan
is to encourage people to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into their
diets, as they contain essential vitamins and
minerals, are extremely nutritious and taste fantastic. Produce tends to have
less calories than many other carbohydrates, thus you can fill
your plate with more items from that section of the grocery store and less items
from the ‘aisles.’
Similar to the last lifestyle diet plan, this one
also involves a lot of fruits and vegetables. It’s operates on this central
phrase “ban the beige” and seeks to greatly reduce the amount of beige-colored
items you’re both eating and putting into your grocery cart. The rationale is
that a plate with a rainbow of colors is healthier
than a plate which is beige in hue.
Lastly, to further drive home the importance of having a diet rich in fruits and
veggies, consider this: according to the Ladies
Home Journal, Adam Drewnowski, Ph.D., director of the nutritional science
program at the University of Washington in Seattle mentioned that he sees
“every cancer specialist in Seattle at the farmer's market each week”,
now “that
should tell you something.”
