Food List for South Beach Diet
Sweets are Part of it!
The south beach diet weight loss system
was started by a Miami Cardiologist who crafted a diet for some of his patients
who had impending heart conditions. Since this
high protein diet’s introduction,
people continually seek the food list for south beach diet to find out if what’s
offered may be a viable option.
The eating plan for the south beach diet is vast and divided into three phases.
The foods listed below are part of all three phases, therefore, if you’re
thinking of this diet but don’t yet know if it’s for you, let the food speak for
itself.
Firstly, fish and meats are extremely prevalent in this diet. Items such as
chicken, beef, turkey, fish (and shellfish) are all allowable yet should be
eaten in moderation.
Secondly, vegetables, cheese, nuts and whole eggs can be added to the diet in
controlled quantities. And don’t worry; 'nuts' includes peanut butter!
Lastly, thank goodness sweets are allowed. Chocolate powder, baking-type cocoa
powder, hard candy and sugar substitutes make up the items permitted. These
items often provide enough satisfaction that you won’t have to go lurking in
your pantry for any 'cheat' foods.
Once again, the items listed above show a cross- section of foods allowed in all
three phases. They are meant to provide a ‘taste’ of what the
south beach diet plan allows in
order to determine whether or not it’s a viable
online dieting option for your weight loss target.
