Is Easy Weight Loss to be or not to be?
In the Eye of the Beholder
There is much debate in the diet world over easy weight loss. Some doctors and
dietitians find the notion preposterous whereas others –who’ve had great success
with a particular diet are large supporters of the claim. Some may find the
Zone
Diet easy because they like a structured set-up and enjoy the food choices,
whereas others may dislike it and have better luck with
diet software they can run
from their computer or palm pilot. Whatever the case, it’s safe to say that
whether or not it’s easy to lose weight is in the eye of the beholder.
People always answer questions based on their past experience. For example, if
you’ve run 10 marathons and you decide to do a half marathon with your
co-workers, the chances that the regular marathoner will find the half-marathon
easy are very high. It’s similar with dieting, if you choose the right diet for
you and your lifestyle needs, have the right frame of mind, lots of support and
enjoy setting goals then you’ll likely look back and say “that diet was easy and
didn’t require too many changes in my life.” However, these examples are the
exception not the rule, so how do we find the right plan to bring us one step
closer to easy dieting?
To find the right plan there are a large number of factors to be considered.
Here are some major queries: how much do you want to spend; do you have the
right attitude to stick with the diet; what foods do you like and dislike; do
you like structure or a laissez-faire approach; do you need constant support; do
you require accountability; are you in it for the long-haul; or do you like eating
out?
These are only a few questions that should cross your mind when
choosing a diet. Whatever you choose should be thoughtfully considered if
you want to achieve great success and keep with weight off!
